WORKSHOPS

“The visit from the Soulful Gallery was a pleasant change from the wind and grind of normal school life. The Graffiti Art & Stencil Art Workshops for Year 11 was thoroughly enjoyed by both students and staff. The activities were thoughtfully created around our original brief, with all planning and preparation completed well in advance. Students were taught about the historical context of what they were about to create, and then encouraged to exercise their own creativity and imagination to complete the brief. Overall the experience of working alongside artists and watching the students learn from someone that they can associate with will remain with us for a long time. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Soulful Gallery to another school and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”

“Soulful Gallery were invited to lead an icebreaker workshop for the Firestation TAKE OVER Team, with a key focus to get the young people thinking and working creatively as a team. The TAKE OVER Team was made up of young people between the ages of 4-16 years, all from local Windsor schools. The wide age range didn’t faze the artists at all; they dived straight in with creative tasks that got the young people talking, drawing and buzzing with new ideas. Their precise planning and workshop preparations reflected in their uber professional delivery, instigating an hour long workshop that introduced concepts of logo design, team names, working as an artist and as a creative team. The young people were fully engaged, smiling throughout and generated lots of original and fresh idea’s. Thank you Soulful!”
